Common Beliefs About Money

It all starts off with beliefs. If any below resonates with you, it is time to ask ourselves “is that genuinely true?” or are these an excuse or a false belief that we have unknowingly convinced ourselves. If so, this is the time to embrace new beliefs.

  • I am just not good with money.

  • Money is the root of all evil.

  • I should be making more than my friends.

  • Making money is really hard.

  • Wanting more money is greedy and selfish.

  • There is time for me to save up tomorrow.

  • I feel awkward and guilty when talking about money and asking for payments. Feeling awkward guilty is a reflection of the insecurities that you have over your true value. Tell yourself, you deserve it - your time/ product/ service is worth it.

  • Nobody would really pay the price/ salary that I want.

Acknowledging any of the above takes courage. Lets' take the first step by acknowledging our limiting beliefs.
